Departmental Exam
	Physical Oceanography

The departmental exam for physical oceanography and climate students comes at the beginning of the second year in graduate school. The written component of the exam covers material from all of the courses that students choose to take in their first year. In the oral component of the exam, students are asked to discuss a selection of assigned scientific papers.
